Asociación de Hoteles de Cancún, Puerto Morelos e Isla Mujeres, A.C. ("AHCPM&IM" or "the Association") is the data controller for the personal data collected through this website, institutional forms or any other authorized channel.

We only collect personal data necessary for the purposes described in this notice. Depending on the interaction channel, we may request:

• Identification data: full name, role, organization, hotel or company.

• Contact data: email, landline or mobile phone, work address.

• Request data: type of interest (membership, event, vacancy), specific event, message or comment.

• Technical data: IP address, browser type, language, pages visited — collected automatically by cookies and similar technologies (see section 7).

We do not collect data considered sensitive under the LFPDPPP (racial or ethnic origin, health status, genetic information, religious beliefs, political opinions or sexual preference).

We process your personal data for the following necessary purposes that give rise to the relationship with the Association:

• Process membership applications from Associated Hotels or Allied Members.

• Process interest registrations for institutional events (Cancún Travel Mart, committees, trade fairs).

• Operate the institutional job board and manage the relationship between employers and candidates.

• Fulfill obligations arising from the contractual relationship with members, allies and providers.

• Respond to inquiries, comments or requests submitted through official channels.

• Comply with legal, regulatory or competent-authority requirements.

Additionally, and unless you object, we may process your data for the following secondary purposes that are not necessary for the primary relationship:

• Sending the monthly institutional bulletin.

• Invitations to events, committees and sector activities.

• Communication of destination-promotion campaigns (e.g., #Come2Cancun).

• Satisfaction surveys or sector-needs assessments.

If you do not want your data used for these purposes, you may state this by writing to relacionespublicas@ahcancun.com with "Opt out of secondary purposes" in the subject line. The opt-out does not affect primary purposes.

AHCPM&IM does not transfer your personal data to third parties without your consent, except in cases provided for by the LFPDPPP:

• To competent authorities when there is a legal or judicial requirement.

• To providers acting as processors (e.g., hosting services, email, bulletin-delivery tools) under contracts that guarantee the same protection standards.

• To Associated Hotels or Allied Members only when you have authorized direct contact (e.g., when applying for a vacancy).

In every case, transfers are limited to what is strictly necessary and are governed by applicable provisions.
